The FWB is a collaboration of churches that share common histories and names. This denomination has adopted the Arminian theology as well as free will into its doctrine and beliefs. Most of the congregations found in this church are rural and located in the southernmost portion of the USA.

Free Will Baptist church members ultimately believe that the bible is indeed perfect and complete, and totally the word of God. Conservative in nature, this church rejects the views that an individual is kept by faith once they are merely saved by faith.
