The MSU College of Law was founded in 1891 as the Detroit College of Law. It became affiliated with Michigan State University in 1995 and moved to East Lansing in 1997. The MSU College of Law had a 41.7% acceptance rate, a median LSAT score of 158 (of accepted applicants), and a median GPA of 3.42 (of accepted applicants), in 2007.
