Theater and Drama schools award students bachelor’s and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degrees, and can take between 4 and 6 years to complete. They are typically taught in performing arts departments at colleges, but can also be private institutions and conservatory.

The course curriculum for these degrees will usually consist of stage development, speech development, communications, dramatic literature, and film.
